Homework: Roaring 20s Prezi will be due on May 3rd. Students will have computer time in their social studies classes both Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

This Friday, April 19th, a SRMS student will have a public reading at the Water Street Bookstore in Exeter, NH. This student won the writing contest hosted by SRMS and published author, Matthew Dicks. We are hoping students, staff and SRMS families will attend the reading at the bookstore. The event begins at 7pm. See you there!

Students studied the 18th amendment in class today and the impact it had on the United States as well as the reason it was created. We began our class with a viewing of a clip from Ken Burns’ documentary Prohibition and used the clip A Nation of Drunkards. All students viewed the clip in class on April 11th, however the last 20 seconds were not shown.
